Anglewest Scaffolding Ltd have been appointed by Balfour Beatty Ltd to complete the scaffolding for phase 1 of the development which includes scaffolds to the existing buildings, Presidents and Pillar Halls and the scaffolding for the construction of the two new blocks College & New Hall. The scaffolding consists of readylock independent scaffolds, loading bays, hoist towers, internal independent scaffolds for blockwork, lift shafts etc.
The challenges for this project will be the access for the materials around the site once the crane has been removed, also the retained façade scaffolding to the Turrets of College hall as the scaffold will need to be installed and fit around the temporary steelwork supports.
